In this scheme, two simple two-story sheds are turned at right angles and pulled apart to create outdoor spaces and to take advantage of different views. A lattice work tower joins them, acting as a transition between private and public realms. One shed consisting of two bedrooms below and living area above is the core of the house. The second shed has two bedrooms above and a storage room and television room below and can be used as a guesthouse. The first floor of the tower is open and leads out to a terrace, which is sheltered from west winds. The second floor provides space where both wind and sun are broken by the lattice. The third floor is wide open with panoramic views of the island.
